Scheduled Maintenance

Under this program we visit your boat dock by boat every two weeks, we check its position and condition and we adjust the dock out or in according to the water level.  We check the weather forecast and adjust for a two-week window keeping the dock as close to shore as possible.  We visit the dock on a Wednesday so that you are in good shape for the weekend.

The maintenance program includes moving the dock in the specific path that the anchors are set in, it does not include moving submerged anchors.  Moving submerged anchors requires our heavy-duty crane boat, not our “maintenance skiff” and only has to be done during high lake fluctuation or if they are moved due to some abnormal event.

Our technical crew follows a checklist to judge the condition of each item listed and they sign a placard on your dock so that you know when we were last there.  We also take a picture of your dock and keep it on file at the office.  They return the report to the office and discuss any issues with Dan, should a repair be needed we will contact you.

In the event of a flood our maintenance program customers are our priority.  A flood event may require extra adjustments, these visits will be billed at $80.00 each.

The cost of this program is $1000.00 for six months of service and we visit every two weeks.

Contact us to join our Maintenance Program and we will set up a regular schedule. One of the worst things that can ruin a day on the water are surprises. Need repairs? Learn more.

Preventative Care

It is easy for our docks to be ignored at times, especially during the months we are not likely to use our boat docks as often as we like. However, small things may go unnoticed that could lead to costly repairs later on. Let our professionals come out and assess your dock. We will take time to investigate your dock, cables, lifts and other accessories and structures and make any recommendations for repairs or improvements. No matter what kind of decking materials your dock has, regular maintenance is necessary year round to prevent larger issues from snowballing. You wouldn’t avoid going to the dentist for years, only to find out you have a dozen cavities and need a root canal! Costly repairs can be prevented with regular maintenance.
